Your company, cited in AI answers.

More and more questions get answered by a machine before anyone clicks. We run your customers' questions through ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, show you who gets cited instead of you and rebuild your site so it works as a source.

You hear back within 24 hours with a first read on your site.

Worth it if one of these sounds familiar

01

Traffic drops, rankings do not

You still rank near the top, yet clicks fall because the answer already sits above the results.

02

Competitors get named, you do not

Ask ChatGPT for a provider in your field and you hear other names.

03

The AI mixes you up

A similar name, another company, wrong details about your services or location.

Your customers' questions first

Answer engines respond to questions, so we start with questions. Together we pick twenty that your customers ask before they get in touch: about a provider, a price, a rule, a comparison. Each one goes into ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google Search with AI Overviews. We record the answer, the companies that come up and the pages linked as sources.

That shows who gets named on your topic and why. Most of the time it is pages with numbers that have a source, paragraphs that stand on their own and plenty of mentions on other sites.

What your site needs to be a source

We check your site against the points that, in our experience, make the difference:

  • Readable for crawlers. Content sits in the HTML and shows without JavaScript, pages load fast, robots.txt lets the important crawlers in.
  • Paragraphs that stand alone. Question as heading, answer in the first sentence, reasoning after. A paragraph that makes sense without the rest of the page can be quoted.
  • Evidence. Numbers with sources, your own measurements, an author with a name and a verifiable profile.
  • One clear company. Name, services and service area described the same way everywhere, in structured data and on a facts page that says what your company is and what it tends to be confused with.
  • Mentions elsewhere. Directories, trade portals, client sites, articles on other sites. If you only exist on your own domain, a system that cross-checks has exactly one source.

What we leave out on purpose

Mass-produced generated articles, keyword density and markup for questions that are missing from the page stay out. The first is useless, the second breaks Google's guidelines. What we think of llms.txt and other promises is in Getting your site into AI answers.

If your site shows AI images, add our AI labelling check. A site that wants to be a source should keep its own house in order.

What people usually ask first

What is GEO?

GEO stands for generative engine optimization, the work of getting answer engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews to use a website as a source and name the company. Much of it overlaps with good SEO: clear copy, backed-up claims, clean technical setup. On top come an unambiguous description of the company and mentions on other sites.

Does an llms.txt file help?

So far there is no documented case of a major model reading the file, and Google says explicitly that no extra files are needed. We serve one ourselves because it costs us nothing. We do not sell it as a visibility measure.

Can you guarantee that ChatGPT names us?

No, nobody honest can. The model decides which sources it uses. We make sure your site can be read, that it contains paragraphs worth quoting and that your company is described the same way everywhere. Whether it works, we measure with the same twenty questions.

How do you measure progress?

With the same questions in the same engines once a month, and with your server logs: which AI crawlers visit which pages and how often. Plus your inquiries, because fewer visits with the same number of inquiries is no loss.
